EPRO MMS3210 022-000 sensor
EPRO MMS3210 Dual Channel Axis Displacement Transmitter MMS3210
Used for measuring and processing shaft displacement signal, the measurement input is eddy current sensor, built-in preprocessor, in line with common standards, such as: API670;
Application:
The MMS3210 dual channel shaft displacement transmitter is one of the MMS3000 family of transmitters designed to monitor axial displacement, axial position, thermal expansion and radial displacement, position of thrust bearings and valves, and many other applications using eddy current displacement sensors. It is also suitable for the combined measurement of two sensors, such as the measurement according to API670 to take the maximum value or conical surface measurement and compensation measurement.
The input of the transmitter is EPRO eddy current displacement sensor PR6422/... , PR6423 /... , PR6424 /... , PR6425 /... , and PR6426 /... .
Applications include all types of turbine machinery, large and small steam turbines, fans, blowers, compressors, gearboxes, centrifuges, pumps, coal mills and others.
This system is not only suitable for large equipment in power plant, oil refinery, chemical plant, combined with fieldbus, PLC, main computer and network, but also suitable for independent monitoring of small turbine machinery with few measuring points.
This transmitter does not have explosion-proof function.
Function and principle:
The MMS3210 dual-channel axial displacement transmitter converts two independent eddy current displacement sensor inputs into two independent outputs proportional to the displacement.
The built-in "self-check" circuit detects sensor and transmitter circuit faults. If faults are found, the logical "OK" output will change state and the current output will change from 4-20mA to 0mA. Initial setup is accomplished by toggle switches and knob switches. The factory setting of the transmitter is the common working mode, and the factory can also set it according to the user's requirements.

Module/sensor monitoring:
The internal module monitoring circuit can continuously monitor the following conditions:
The sensor signal is within the preset range;
Connecting cable between sensor and module "OK" (no short circuit or open circuit);
The supply voltage of the system is within the preset range;
The state of the module/sensor is output through the optocoupler, and its maximum load is: U=48V DC; I = 100 ma.
Limit testing:
For dual channels, the eigenvalue of channel 1 is monitored by yellow alarm light, and that of channel 2 is monitored by red alarm light. In single-channel mode, the limit value can be set, such as yellow light for alarm and red light for danger.
Limits adjustment range: 0... * Full scale.
Output of optocoupler: UMAX =48V DC; Imax = 100 ma.
