ZB20 bus offers high performance as well asdata integrity.Throughput can range from 50 msfor small data volume and up to 400 ms for fullexpansi晷葑竣遲贸 (with 2,048 bytes).

The ZB20 station addresses are convenientlyset during creation of the user program.

The ABB Procontic T200 ZB20 bus featuresprogram transfer with parameters in additionto processing data.A programmingdevice, connected anywhere in theautomation system, offers insight intothe user programs of all central units,with all the appropriate functions(for example down line loading).

The ABB Procontic feld bus ZB10 transfersprocess data to the other ABB Proconticsystems. This also applies to ABB ProconticT200 stations with central and decentralexpansion.

Programming of the ZB10 connections in theABB Procontic T200 station is just as easy asin the ABB Procontic T200 bus ZB20 andis done when the user program is created.

The length of the transmission cable dependson the type of cable and the number of con-nected stations, Limit values are 1,640 ft (500 m)to 4,920 ft (1,500 m) and 10 to 50 connections.

Every station can take -alternatively to theZB20/T200 couplers -up to 2 coupling devicesand can therefore be connected to separatebus systems.

The reaction time of the ABB Procontic fieldbus ZB10 is very short. it is below 10 ms forsmall data volumes and stil stays below 300ms even at 1,024 bytes.

The connection of the ABB Procontic T200 tothe standardized feld bus PROFlBUS representsan additional possibility of networking for dataexchange with any PROFlBUS subscribers.
