The EcoStruxure™ Foxboro SCADA SCD2200 is a highly resilient modular Remote Terminal Unit (RTU) for remote SCADA applications. It is powerful, reliable and easily configured and deployed. The modular construction of the SCD2200 can be matched to the requirement of most applications. Multiple backplanes can be chained together to provide communications and I/O expansion. SCD2200 configurations range from 1 to 16 communication ports and 4 to 1024 I/O points.

• Multiple redundancies for CPU, Power and Communications to reduce the risk of system failures 

• Modular System to enable ease of expansion 

• Online software changes allow editing of the IEC61131-3 program, which can be sent to the RTU without requiring a full download or restart; accelerating software development and commissioning tasks 

• Fast Deployment and Configuration with the SD card cloning capabilities which allow greater storage and data back-up along with supporting a faster setup 

• Rugged and Robust: 

• Can operate across a wide temperature range: -40...85 ° C (-40...185 ° F) 

• Up to 5,000 V of isolation between cards to help protect against external power disturbances 

• Direct Access to Diagnostics: 

• OLED and LED displays enable quicker identification of issues without the use of external tools

Configuration and Programming 

FoxRTU Station software 

FoxRTU Station software facilitates configuration, diagnostics, logic development and device management: 

• Locally through any of the communication ports 

• Remotely through serial or TCP/IP networks and modems 

Device Management 

• Upgrade of the SCD2200 firmware 

• Upgrade of I/O module firmware 

• All modules can be hot swapped 

Logic Development 

• Choose from five IEC 61131-3 compliant languages 

• Develop and write logic to a running system without interruption to the logic

High Performance I/O Modules Intelligent I/O modules are designed for applications that require high accuracy and performance. Advanced capabilities include: 

• High speed scanning 

• Input counting up to 10 kHz
